The growing popularity of ready-to-drink beverages and the rising disposable income of the individuals in the region are the key factors driving cold brew coffee demand growth in Asia Pacific. A 3.3% increase in income levels is anticipated in the Asia-Pacific region between 2022 and 2050. The number of middle-class populations is expected to increase to 3.5 billion by 2030. This rise of the middle class and the increasing disposable incomes are accompanied by changing spending patterns and expenditures which significantly impacts the cold brew coffee market.
Increasing urbanization along with growing Western influence have also positively impacted the market. As people become more conscious of the negative effects of carbonated drinks, they are choosing healthier beverages like cold brew coffee to lift their spirits instead of iced coffee. Dairy-free cold brew coffee manufactured from alternative milk sources, like oat milk, is also becoming more popular due to the growing vegan population and the rise in lactose intolerance cases.
