Manufacturing Process of Zinc Tetroxycyanurate

The production process of zinc tetroxycyanurate involves several key steps. First, the reactants, zinc oxide (ZnO) and cyanuric acid are gathered. These materials are then combined in a suitable mixing vessel, where deionised water is added to create a paste-like consistency. The mixture is subsequently heated to a temperature between 100°C and 180°C, maintaining a pressure of 1 to 10 bar during this phase. The heating allows the reactants to undergo a chemical reaction over a period of 1 to 2 hours, resulting in the formation of zinc tetroxycyanurate. After the reaction is complete, the mixture is cooled to room temperature. The product is then filtered to separate solid zinc tetroxycyanurate from any remaining liquid. Following filtration, the solid is washed with water to remove impurities and then dried in an oven at 120°C until the moisture content is reduced to less than 1%.
