Global Industrial Sewing Machines Market Report and Forecast 2025-2034
As per the analysis by Expert Market Research, the industrial sewing machines market was approximately USD 3406.80 Million in 2024 and expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.90% between 2025 and 2034 to attain a value of USD 6043.75 Million by 2034, driven by constantly changing fashion trends.
Industrial sewing machines are used to stitch garments as well as non-apparel goods including bags, car seats, parachutes, and shirts and t-shirts. They are particularly designed for heavy-duty stitching applications in large-scale industries and have significant output capacities. There are various stitches that can be sewn with these industrial sewing machines, including chain, zigzag, and overlock stitches. Industrial sewing machines operate better than regular home sewing machines because they are primarily made for use in manufacturing situations.
The garment business has grown substantially in size as a result of ever-changing fashion trends. This has increased the demand for trendy clothes significantly. Therefore, clothing manufacturers have shifted their emphasis to mass production of new items with little regard for product quality. This increased demand for clothing has necessitated the development of large-scale industrial sewing machines. The expansion of online clothing sales on e-commerce platforms has also increased apparel sales. Therefore, it is projected that the growth of the fashion industry will fuel the market for industrial sewing machines, thereby raising the demand for industrial sewing machines market.
The market for industrial sewing machines is anticipated to grow at the fastest rate in Asia Pacific. The Asian market is seeing an increase in demand for luxury sewing machines. Due to the enhanced features of high-end sewing machines on the market that save time, energy, and minimise the complexity of manufacturing processes, industrial producers are rapidly favouring them. Supportive government initiatives in developing nations like China and India would encourage textile producers to adopt cutting-edge technology and increase the size of their production facilities, which is projected to increase demand for sewing machines.
December 2024: In partnership with the Chinese company "Jack Technology," "Sokkar" Sewing Machines, a pioneer in creative solutions for cutting-edge sewing equipment, introduced its newest, superior machines. The goal of this project is to increase quality and productivity in Egypt's ready-made clothing industry. At a conference introducing the newest invention, the C7 URUS overlock machine, the announcement was made.
November 2024: In Guangzhou, Bruce Company introduced the groundbreaking Bomber 5000 Overlock Machine, which featured the tagline, "continuous sewing for thousands of meters without skipping stitches." The Bomber 5000 creatively combines track feeding technology and gyroscopic thread stabilization technology with Bruce's in-house "Tank Stabilizer System," which provides stability and excellent efficiency when sewing intricate materials.
