Further, rapidly expanding coffee chains are contributing to the market growth. For instance, in June 2024, South Korea’s largest coffee chain, Ediya Coffee, announced its plans to open 200 stores in Malaysia by 2030. The company started with three outlets in 2024, under a new master franchise agreement.
